A Warm Welcome Back

We’re delighted to be re-opening all our pubs responsibly from Monday, 20th July 2020. We’ve been very busy getting everything ready to re-open our doors and once again do what we do best, providing our customers with fresh, seasonal British food and of course your favourite tipples.

Your safety and well-being are of utmost importance and we have the highest standards of cleaning and hygiene training in place. We are offering a reduced contact experience to help keep us all safe.

Your visit may need to look a little different, but our warm welcome and high levels of service remain unchanged so we hope very much that it will feel the same. So please sit back, relax & enjoy.  We are here to look after you and can’t wait to welcome you back.

Caring Responsibly

Our team members, when returning to work, must complete a mandatory health screening with daily health declarations also being completed to ensure they remain symptom free and fit to work. Any team member showing symptoms will be sent home immediately and required to follow government guidelines before returning to work.

We are participating in NHS Test & Trace as part of the country’s ongoing Covid-19 response and to help keep our pubs open. Your personal booking data will be processed in accordance with our privacy policy which can be found here.  Your name and phone number may be made available to NHS Test & Trace for 21 days following your visit if requested.  We would encourage our customers to support the programme, however, if you do not wish to take part please email the pub directly to opt out.

We ask that if you or any accompanying persons are showing any symptoms of Covid-19 that you postpone your visit.

Cleaning Responsibly

All our teams have been fully briefed and trained in our new enhanced cleaning procedures and the responsibility that they have to their customers and colleagues. High contact points will be sanitised regularly. Hand sanitiser stations are available throughout our pubs and hotels and we request that you use them on arrival and during your time with us.

We are operating with a reduced number of tables in our pubs & restaurants so that we can adhere to social distancing guidelines. Availability may be limited so you are advised to book ahead for drinks and dining. Our booking confirmation and pre-arrival email communications will provide additional information with regards to health and hygiene.

We are following Government guidelines on household get-togethers and we ask that our guests adhere to these guidelines.  In line with these guidelines, we are taking table bookings for a maximum of 10 people from up to 2 households.

Distancing Responsibly

We have taken all reasonable steps to maintain a safe and social distance throughout our pubs. In line with government guidelines 1m+ social distancing will be observed.  Please keep movement around the pub to a minimum and observe any directional flow promoted by the pub.

In our pubs, we have reduced seating capacity and where possible, extended bookable seating areas into our gardens. We are doing our best to accommodate as many people wishing to visit as it is safe to do so. You may be allocated a table for a limited time slot, please be happy to move on when asked.

Welcoming Responsibly

We are offering full table service inside and out.  On arrival, our host will show you to your table.

Serving Responsibly

Your table will be sanitised ahead of your arrival and all cutlery and glasses brought to you. Your food and drinks will be brought to the serving area of your table by your dedicated server.  We ask that for the current time, you pour your own drinks where appropriate to minimise contact.

Ordering Responsibly

Single use menus will be available and your dedicated team member available to take your order using our tablets.

Paying Responsibly

To reduce unnecessary handling of cash, the vast majority of our pubs are accepting card payments. Sorry no cash.
